✈ The challenge: While aircraft and airlines generate and collect massive amounts of data, this data is hardly aggregated and leveraged in the industry. As a result, decisions are often based on incomplete or even falsely interpreted data – leading to sub-optimal outcomes: unnecessary CO2 emissions and financial losses.
💻 Our solution: At Skailark we help industry stakeholders to take best-informed decisions and perform better financially and environmentally. At the heart of everything we do is a digital twin of the global aviation market. We model every seat on every flight of every airline with every aircraft. We estimate each gallon of fuel consumed and ton of CO2 emitted, how much an airline paid for each aircraft, we know the day when each component needs to undergo maintenance, how many hours each pilot sits in the cockpit, and so on…
📈 The role: Founders Associate (f/m/d): You keep the company running, setting up and driving processes to enable structured growth.
Responsibilities:
- HR:
- Define, execute, and optimize the hiring process to enable our growth.
- Optimize our internal HR processes as needed.
- Marketing:
- Help define the company’s marketing strategy.
- Implement and execute marketing strategy, leveraging our freelancers.
- Website: Update marketing contents as needed.
- LinkedIn: Develop publication plan; create and monitor posts.
- Help organize customer meetings/ trade shows around the world together with sales team.
- Financials:
- Own & update our company’s financial planning.
- Own & execute applications for (public) funding.
- Assist in company accounting, leveraging our accounting software and tax attorney.
- Customer: Own & lead the legal alignment process with the customer.
- Product: Help coordinate user requests and development activities, e.g. through managing user manual.
- Events & fun: Organize team meetings and offsites.
- General: Identify the need to set-up or optimize processes, always with an 80-20 focus.
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated in previous full-time roles or internships (Startup or management consulting).
- Ability to work independently with a ‘getting things done’ attitude.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English (no German required).
